InfoLogica Fusion Framework is a Universal integration backbone which acts as a shared messaging layer for connecting applications and other services throughout an enterprise computing infrastructure. It supplements its core asynchronous messaging backbone with intelligent transformation and routing to ensure messages are passed reliably. Services participate in the framework using the web services messaging standards

Infologica's Workflow Management Service is built upon the fundamentals of event-driven automation and process orchestration and addresses the integration on the process level dealing with the factors like time, order and concurrency of execution, data correlation and integrity, state management, application and infrastructure events.

Infologica workflow can be defined as a set of a logical containers(instructions) that allows to break the business process into the smaller reusable units of execution (activities) and invoke them asynchronously across and beyond the enterprise within the same application context.

Infologica Workflow designer provides business analysts with the high-level graphical abstraction to express the complex business logic and serialise it in a structured document format (XAML) as a workflow definiton.

The initial workflow definition is then sent to the developer who is using the workflow designer. The developer finally maps the logical business activities to the actual implementation services defined as a workflow component activities and registered with the Infologica Fusion Component container.

The above implementation services predominantly encapsulate the data access and connectivity logic using Infologica Infrastructure Adapters and therefore are process-agnostic becoming highly available for utilisation in enterprise.

This way Infologica workflow management system moves the decision-making logic from the component level to the workflow-managed process level enabling reuse of existing infrastructure software assets, reducing the overall cost of deploying the new business processes.
